More about fresh flour
The entire grain berry is used in freshly milled flour and it is never bleached or enriched. Fresh milled flour has higher nutritional content and better flavor profile. Our flours are never altered or treated to allow you the experience of the flavor and nutrition of natural flour.
Yes! and that is not a bad thing. Because fresh milled flour contains all the natural vitamins, fibers, and oils found in the grain berry it does not have a long shelf life like commercially enriched flour that is stripped of all the natural nutrients to obtain that longer shelf life.
Fresh milled flour is best kept in a cool dry place. We suggest in the refrigerator or freezer as best practice. Fresh flour is best used withing 30 days and can last longer if properly kept.
Ancient grains have largely remained unchanged over several hundred years. Modern grains have been changed through selective breeding and therefore has changed the genetic properties of grains compared to what was found hundred of years ago.
Grain berries and whole corn kernels will last for months and even years if kept in a cool dry place reducing exposure to moisture and oxygen.
We grow our estate grains using organic practices and retain grains from each years crop to plant the next years crop so we know where our estate grains are sourced from. We are not officialy certified by an organization and working through this process.
We utilize a slow and low temperature milling process to make sure we do not sacrifice any of the benefits of freshly milled flour.
We feature our grains from the Fusek Family farms in Canfield, OH. We also are working to develop relationships with other family farms in the area to expand our grain varietal offerings and increase our harvest yields.

All shipments from Fusek Flour Co. are sent using tracking and shipment verification. Because we product freshly milled flour there is a processing time to make the flour and we appreciate your understanding that this may delay the shipment and if you are in need of a rushed order we advise contacting us directly to see if we can accommodate your request.

SHIPPING & ORDER PROCESSING
- Fusek Flour Co. ships all orders throughout the United States using UPS as our third party shipping carrier.
- Orders are only shipped nationwide. We only ship by the selected service when the order is placed. This does not indicate or include order processing time which is in addition to shipment service.
- Orders placed after 3 PM EST will begin processing the day.
- Once a tracking number has been generated, we are unable to cancel your order.
NATIONWIDE SHIPPING GUARANTEE
- Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States.
- UPS will not to deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses.
- Fusek Flour Co. is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses however we will try our best to help out in these situations but please note once it leaves our doors we do not have operational control on our orders.
- Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for UPS.
- Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered, UPS may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver.
- Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.
- During peak holiday season in the month of November/December and during sale days, orders will process in the order in which they are placed. Please communicate any specific delivery date requests to us via email customercare@fusekflour.com or give us a call.
- Fusek Flour Co. is not responsible for any UPS delivery delays or due to the high volume that UPS experiences during the month of November/December.

Yes. Please note our facilities do process nuts and other products. If you have concerns please contact us to see if there may be a solution.
- Due to the perishable nature of our products, Fusek Flour does not accept returns.
- There are no returns or exchanges.
- Circumstance Pending, Route Package Protection and or Fusek Flour Co. will issue a credit or re-order.
- If, for some reason, you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact customer service team within 2 days of when the package was received and provide a photo of both product and shipping box and a detailed description of the issue, and we will make every effort to make sure you are happy with your Fusek Flour experience. Due to the perishable nature of our product, all claims submitted after the 48 hour delivery window or without proper photos, Route Package Protection, or order number will not be eligible for return, refund or reship.
To cancel and order it must be done so before the order has begun processing and usually can be done within 24 hour time period of order confirmation. Orders that already have a generated tracking number are also unable to be cancelled. For order cancellation or modification requests, please contact our customer service team or call us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, however, such requests may not be possible due to the order processing schedule. Custom and bulk orders are unable to be cancelled once placed.
